Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

As an Occupational Therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. Through collaboration with clients and their care teams, I help create clear, practical pathways to wellness.

My services integrate psychotherapy techniques, guiding clients in developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. We focus on self-development, structured planning, and goal setting for daily activities, empowering clients to use their everyday experiences as stepping stones in their recovery journey.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) can be a complex and challenging journey. Cognitive rehabilitation, sensory integration, planning and pacing, stress and anxiety management, and behavioral activation all play a crucial role in regaining independence and overall well-being.

As an Occupational Therapist, I design personalized rehabilitation programs to help clients return to meaningful activities—whether that’s work, education, driving, homemaking, leisure, or other daily occupations.

With expertise in assessing occupational performance, I ensure that each recovery plan is tailored to the client’s unique needs, supporting them in rebuilding skills, confidence, and quality of life.

Clinical Case Management Services

When a client has a complex rehabilitation treatment plan, it often involves multiple professionals, including family doctors, rehabilitation specialists, various healthcare providers, and family members. With so many moving parts, the care team can sometimes feel disjointed due to the demands of both private and public healthcare systems.

As a clinicalcase manager, I facilitate coordination to ensure the treatment plan remains client-centered. Through clear communication with healthcare practitioners and caregivers, I help create a cohesive, collaborative, and interdisciplinary team, ensuring seamless support for the client’s recovery journey.

Client Centred Care is our priority

Our Occupational Therapy services are available in-office, in the community, at the client’s home, or through our secure and confidential telehealth platform.

Every client begins with a 15-minute consultation to gather essential information and prepare for the assessment. Following the assessment, we collaborate to develop a personalized treatment plan, ensuring all appropriate team members are involved—such as family doctors, rehabilitation specialists, third-party insurance providers, and family members.

Treatment and assessments continue until the established goals are met. Before discharge, we implement a Community Involvement Treatment Plan to support long-term progress and help clients maintain and build upon their achievements.
